In 2015, Luke founded &Element specialising in web development and digital growth services. Today he leads a team specialists creating AI dashboard solutions along with partnerships and innovation.

From a background in design and user experience combined with years of full stack development, Joe now leads the operations and development team at &Element.

Lead Designer

Specialising in building beautiful brand identities for clients along with prototyping large-scale dashboard projects and highly converting web designs.

As our senior lead developer Ryan assists with project management on our largest projects, supporting developers on their day-to-day tasks and coding full stack solutions.

Agata, a final-year cognitive sciences student is bringing a unique blend of psychology and technology insights to &Element and our marketing clients.

Senior Developer

Victoria manages some of our larger dashboard projects and, with a degree in maths, provides valuable insights into complex data solutions.

Full Stack Developer

Our rising talent Nathan joined last year as an apprentice and quickly has been learning and building React.js TinaCMS websites and developing frontends for some of our biggest dashboards.

After completing his Master in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Essex, Hassan joined &Element to solve large scale data analytical challenges and build usable recommendation systems.

Our History

2015

Setup

The company was founded by Luke in March 2015 while he was freelancing with clients across North America.

2017

First hires

The University of Suffolk supported us in hiring a number of employees such as Ryan, Reuben and a couple others in the early days.

2019

React.js only

Our team switches entirely over to using React.js in the MERN stack, we specialise in React solutions for a range of London based clients.

2019

100th project

After working on education, travel, voting and eCommerce projects we reached our 100th project across Europe and North America.

2021

Retail

&Element starts focusing on working with a range of household brands like Philips, IQOS, Rolls Royce, Chupa Chups and Gucci.

2021

Home sweet home

We moved into the Innovation Centre on the University of Essex campus in Sept 2021, since then we’ve upgraded the office twice!
